It is noteworthy that the arrival of water in Bisalpur dam comes from Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Ajmer and Tonk districts. Which is considered as the catchment area. According to the engineers of the dam project, the main inflow of water into the dam is believed to be from Chittorgarh and Bhilwara districts. In which the Banas river is the main source of inward. At the same time, Khari and Dai rivers are also helpful in water logging. Matrukundiya, Gowta, Kothari, Jaitpura are the main dams in the Banas river before the Bisalpur dam.
